BengalsBucsWorld is an independent fan site based in the Netherlands. This page explains what the site stores about you. The short version: very little, and nothing for advertising.
Comments
When you post a comment, we store the name you enter, the text of your comment, the time it was posted, and a scrambled version of your IP address. The scrambled address is a one-way hash that cannot be turned back into your IP. We keep it only to stop spam, for example to limit how many comments one connection can post in a short time. Comments and the hash are kept as long as the comment is online. We can remove your comment on request.
Your browser also remembers the name you used, so you do not have to type it again. That is stored only on your own device and you can clear it in your browser settings.
Statistics
We use Vercel Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you. Your IP address is processed briefly to derive a country and to filter out repeat page views, and is not stored.
Cookies
BucsWorld sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie on the site is a login cookie for the editor, which you will never receive as a reader.
Third parties
Player photos on the roster pages are loaded from ESPN's image servers, and the hero video and article photos are served from Vercel's storage. When your browser loads those files, those services see your IP address, as with any image on the web. We do not share any data with them.
Hosting
The site runs on Vercel, with its database at Neon. Both process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
Your rights
Under European privacy law (GDPR) you can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it. In practice that means a comment. Send a message to @thebucsworld on Instagram and we will take care of it.

If this page changes, the date above changes with it.
