Bucs injury report, Week 1: McMillan, Tucker and Skule doubtful at the Bengals

Four Buccaneers carry a game designation for Sunday, September 13, at the Cincinnati Bengals, kickoff 1:00 PM ET (19:00 CEST) at Paycor Stadium: wide receiver Jalen McMillan, running back Sean Tucker and offensive tackle Justin Skule are doubtful, and linebacker Christian Rozeboom is questionable, on the final Week 1 injury report the team published Friday (Buccaneers.com, September 11). No Buccaneer was ruled out. Wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, who missed time earlier in camp with a toe injury, practiced fully all week and carries no designation, and head coach Todd Bowles called him full go after practice.

Linebacker Mohamed Kamara (knee) and cornerback Josh Hayes are on injured reserve and are not on the weekly report.

What it means

With McMillan doubtful, Chris Godwin Jr. and Egbuka carry the receiver room, with rookie Ted Hurst III and Tez Johnson next in line on the Week 1 depth chart (SI.com). Skule is the swing tackle behind Luke Goedeke on that chart; a doubtful tag for him thins the bench behind the starting five rather than the starting five itself. Rozeboom, listed second at inside linebacker behind Alex Anzalone, is the one questionable name.

At running back, a Tucker absence leaves Bucky Irving as the lead back with Kenny Gainwell second, the order of the depth chart. Tucker scored 7 rushing touchdowns in 2025, the most in Tampa Bay's backfield, so his hamstring is worth tracking into Week 2. Bowles had called Tucker a game-time decision earlier in the week before Friday's doubtful tag settled the question for the opener.

Stewart is doubtful after two straight limited practices, which takes a starting defensive end out of Cincinnati's pass rush plan for the opener. Turner picked up a hamstring issue on Thursday and stayed limited through Friday, but head coach Zac Taylor said the cornerback is good to go for Sunday (SI.com Bengals, September 11).
