Eight Buccaneers carry a game designation for Sunday, October 18 vs the Pittsburgh Steelers, kickoff 1:00 PM ET, 19:00 CEST at Raymond James Stadium: Baker Mayfield, Antoine Winfield Jr. and David Sills V are out, Benjamin Morrison is doubtful and four players are questionable, on the final injury report the team published Friday (Buccaneers.com, October 16). The new name on the list is linebacker Josiah Trotter, who first appeared on the report Friday with a knee injury.

What it means
Jalon Daniels remains the starting quarterback with Mayfield out, as covered after Mayfield's thumb injury in Week 3. At safety, Ifeatu Melifonwu takes the snaps Winfield cannot. Winfield did not practice all week with the rib injury, and BucsWorld covered it in the report on his rib fracture. The depth chart shows the players behind each position.
At cornerback, Morrison was limited on all three days and is doubtful. Garnes went from no practice Wednesday to a full session Friday and is questionable. Kevin Knowles is the next cornerback listed behind Morrison on the depth chart. Dennis moved from limited to full on Friday, while Tucker was limited Thursday and Friday after missing Wednesday.
Sills is the odd line. He took part fully in all three practices and is still listed as out. His 21-day practice window opened this week, as BucsWorld reported in Sills returns to practice. BucsWorld also has the Trotter update, with Christian Rozeboom on the depth chart at inside linebacker.

Pittsburgh has two receivers out in Skowronek and Wilson, and Metcalf missed Friday's practice with an illness. Watt and Heyward practiced fully Thursday and Friday and carry no designation.
