What it means
Mayfield will not play, and Bowles named rookie Jalon Daniels the starter in his place on Monday (ESPN, September 28). Bain and Morrison are out at outside linebacker and cornerback, and Kieft is out at tight end. The depth chart shows who sits behind Bain, Morrison and Kieft. Three players are questionable. Dennis was limited Wednesday, did not practice Thursday and returned as a limited participant Friday. Nuñez-Roches did not practice Wednesday, was limited Thursday and was full Friday. Parrish is listed with a personal issue and moved from two DNPs to limited Friday.
Godwin, Irving and Diaby all finished the week as full participants. Green Bay is missing two guards and two defensive tackles, and its report lists no quarterback or receiver. The Packers signed guards Kevin Zeitler and Laken Tomlinson this week to address their offensive line injuries (Packers.com, October 2).
