Pittsburgh is a 2.5-point road favorite at Raymond James Stadium, and the total of 40.5 is a low-scoring number by any standard. That is where FanDuel stood on October 13, five days before Sunday's game. Kickoff is 1:00 PM ET, 19:00 CEST, on Sunday, October 18, and the Buccaneers come in at 1-4 after beating Dallas.

The two figures add up to about 104 percent, which is the sportsbook's built-in margin, not a claim that the game is a coin flip with extra weight on one side.

Not a Buccaneer, not in BucsWorld's data

Egbuka's line of 3.5 sits just below his 2025 average of 3.7 catches. Of the five anytime touchdown prices BetMGM lists for this game, Irving's is the second shortest, behind only Warren.

What the market is pricing in

The quarterback is the loudest piece of news. Sports Illustrated Betting listed Baker Mayfield as out on October 13, and Sports Interaction wrote on October 14 that his thumb injury keeps him out. On October 12, Sports Illustrated Betting cited NFL insider James Palmer saying Mayfield was pushing to play and still needed medical clearance. Jalon Daniels started the last two games, and no Mayfield passing yards prop appears on any page BucsWorld read this week.

Tampa Bay's case rests on the run game. Bucky Irving ran for 165 yards in the 24-16 win over Dallas on October 8, and the Bucs rushed for 241 yards as a team, the first win of their season. The receiver room is thin: David Sills opened his return window on October 12, with Jalen McMillan on injured reserve since September 30. SI listed Pittsburgh running back Rico Dowdle as questionable on October 13.

BucsWorld's read

BucsWorld's own call has the Buccaneers finishing 10-7 and winning the NFC South. At 1-4, that call needs 9-3 the rest of the way, and a 45 percent moneyline at home against Pittsburgh is a number a team on that path has to beat at some point. The market prices this as a near-even game at home. BucsWorld's season call does not depend on this single result, but it does depend on results like it.

Every line above is a snapshot from October 13 and 14, and sportsbooks move numbers before kickoff. BucsWorld does not encourage betting, and a line exists to balance action, not to forecast one specific Sunday.
